Frances Moses Crist passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at the age of 91, at her home in Lafayette, Louisiana. Frances was born on March 18, 1926, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a devoted wife and loving mother with a strong passion for music and evangelization. She put God first in all things and fervently prayed for others. She graduated from St. Joseph's Academy in 1942. She was an active member of Our Lady’s Rosary Maker’s Guild and an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary.

Frances is survived by her eight children (spouses), Edward, Jr (Lynda), Robert (Chris), Donald (Elly), Nancy McDaniel, James (Joanne), William (Pam), Ralph (Julie), and Ann Cheramie, along with a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December, 9, 2017, 10:00 a.m., at Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal St, New Orleans, LA, 70119, followed by a mass of Christian burial. Interment will follow at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3, 3421 Esplanade Ave, New Orleans, LA, 70119. Condolences may be expressed online at www.schoencanalstreet.com.
