Randolph Christopher (Pete) Gary, III, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the age of 79. He belonged to three families who dearly loved him. His birth parents were the late Randolph C. Gary, II and Dorothy Marie Caire. He also had his adoptive parents, the late William Angelo and Louise Baril. He is survived by his siblings from his mother’s second marriage, Linda (Paul) Brown, Clyde Broadus, Gerald (Yvonne) Broadus, Rita “Sissy” (Steve) Westmoe, and Ricky Broadus. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Gary, Hewitt Angelo, Paul Angelo, Floyd Angelo, Toby Broadus, and Ronnie Broadus; and by his sister Dorothy Myrex. He leaves behind many, many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, in laws, and a dear, dear friend for over 30 years, Jimmy Wiley. We all will cherish our memories of him. Pete retired from the restaurant business after having worked at several old, renown New Orleans restaurants; including The Court of Two Sisters, Commander’s Palace, and the Vieux Carre. He was a friend to all. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 12:15 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the J. Garic Schoen chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until Mass time.
