Aurora M Kirst

Aurora DelaCruz Kirst passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children on November 2, 2023, 12:00 AM at the age of 92. She was born January 4, 1931 to the late Hilario and Deloras (Diaz) DelaCruz. Beloved widow of Kenneth Kirst. She is survived by her daughters Karyn Finn (Kevin); Kristy Vicknair; and Kerri Johnson (Eric). Grandchildren; Alexandria, Rebecca, Juliann, Ryan, Carmen, Adrian and Lauren. Great grandchildren; Layla, Abigail, Emily, Salah, and Rowan. Brother; Victor "Bobby" DelaCruz. Preceded by granddaughter Brittany Strehle and Siblings; Richard DelaCruz, Martha (Loggins) DelaCruz. Aurora lived life fully, enjoying family, friends and serving as Eucharistic Minister at St. Francis. She also enjoyed an active lifestyle with Jefferson Women's Tennis Club, recreation league volleyball and gardening.  She will be laid to rest with her husband at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be sent to Paul E.
