Tribute

Bryan Hogge Bybee, a lifelong resident of New Orleans, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 9:58 AM. Age 65 years.  He was born on Christmas Day to the late Marjorie Hogge Bybee and Paul D. Bybee, Jr. in Port Sulphur, LA. Bryan attended John F. Kennedy High School and the University of New Orleans where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Restaurant and Tourism. He worked as a Banquet Manager at the Omni Royal Orleans for years and the Brown Palace Hotel and Spa of Denver, CO and recently at Frischhertz Electric Company.  Bryan loved the French Quarter, the Saints, gardening , cooking, and his beloved dog, Jackson. He had dear friends and people who found him to have a positive, upbeat attitude and an outgoing personality. He was preceded in death by his partner, Timothy P. Compton. He is survived by his sisters, Ellen B. Frischhertz (Stephen), Paula B. Fey of Mars, PA,  his brother, David A. Bybee and many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID restrictions, a celebration of Bryan’s life will be held at a later date when restrictions are lifted.
