Cheryl L. Michel

Cheryl L. Michel departed peacefully from this world on Saturday morning, the 10th of July, 2021. An active member of the Catholic community, Cheryl’s faith has guided her throughout 75 years of beautiful life. Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents Emery Justin Lattimer, Sr. and Bernadette Zimmerman Lattimer and brother, Emery Justin Lattimer, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Henry J. Michel; their loving children, Kirk Michel (Elizabeth), Chantel Michel-Adolph and Rhett Michel; caring grandchildren, Grant Adolph (Tricia), Alayna Adolph, Travis Adolph, Emery Michel, Nina Michel and Turner Michel; and adoring great-grandchildren, Stella and Abigail Adolph.

Cheryl was a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy (Class of 63’) and held many roles throughout her long career, most notably at Adams and Reese Law firm for 26 years— where she volunteered numerous hours towards their HUGS elderly-care program.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Avenue, Metairie, LA 70002. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension Research.
