Donald Joseph Boudreaux May 30/1929 - November 30/2017
Donald was a loving husband to Joyce Le Blanc and a devoted loving Father to his Daughter Donna Kim Smith and her husband John Smith. He lived a full 88+ years. He graduated from St. Aloysius College. Served 7+ years in the Air Force as an Aircraft Mechanic. He then worked for many Aircraft Companies: Pan Air, CALCO, Free Port Sulfur, Circle Incorporated, Ingram, Gulf Oil and retired from Chevron Oil. His line was" It is just a machine you can fix it.” He did own the Purina Store in Slidell to feed Kim’s horses! He was truly a Renaissance Man. He could build, repair, and grow anything. He was an excellent teacher. Each day was an adventure and challenge for him. He made life better for all who were fortunate to know him. He has flown off to the Real Paradise in the Goose Aircraft where he is busy fishing in his boat. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, December 10, 2017 at JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal St. New Orleans LA 70119 from 1-4 pm. His final ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery.
