Dwyer of Fairhope, AL (formerly of New Orleans). Erin also leaves behind a sister, Bonnie Dwyer of Somerville, MA (formerly of New Orleans), and two brothers: Edward Keith Dwyer and Ryan Patrick "Duffy" Dwyer, both of Kenner. She is also survived by her niece, Aisling Niamh Maher, and nephew, Cian Thomas Healy, both of Massachusetts. Erin attended DeLaSalle High School and graduated from Riverdale High School. She formed many lifelong and loyal friendships, in particular Dante Pierson, Sarah Brooks, Kathryn Zansler and Drew Woods. She is remembered with love by a large extended family including Julie Frentz of Metairie. Erin was employed by All America Personal Care as a provider of services for the developmentally disabled and was a cherished colleague and friend of many, especially Darlene Calderone of Kenner.  A gifted musician, Erin performed throughout the New Orleans area with a close community of friends who mourn her sudden passing.  She had a passion for civil rights and social justice, and was a vocal supporter of many causes seeking to empower the disenfranchised. She enjoyed travel, independent film, live music festivals, and was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass on Friday, May 19, 2017 at 1:30 pm in the J.
