Helen Ann Guenther

Helen Schneider Guenther, 92, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Mrs. Guenther was born in New Orleans and resided in Metairie. Wife of the late Earl C. Guenther. Daughter of the late Antoinette Marullo Schneider and William John Schneider. Sister of the late Mildred Guidry, Arthur (Buster) J. Hague, Rita Hague Huber, Mercedes Schneider and Louise Schilling. Mother of Alan Guenther (Jeannine) and Jacquelyn Hoover (Steve). Grandmother to Kurt Hoover (Jill), Stephen Guenther and Claudia Guenther. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119 at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 18, 2021. Visitation starts at 9:30 AM. Interment in St Joseph #1. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society.
