Jacob George Oestriecher Jr

Jacob George Oestriecher, Jr, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 77. He was born on January 12th, 1946 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Jacob George Oestriecher, Sr and late Josephine Barbara Bersuder Oestriecher. Mr. Oestriecher, a New Orleans native has lived in Covington for the past 39 years.

Mr. Oestriecher was survived by his wife, Shirley Oestriecher; children, Mae Everett (Dennis), Jacob Oestriecher (Janel), Pearl Goins (Tony), Paul Oestriecher (Sue), Kristy Strain, (Kyle), Jacqueline McCann (Brian), and Yvette Flick (Matthew); grandchildren, Toby, Caroline, Abigail, Emily, Amelia, Scott, Bella, Miley, and Lily; numerous nieces; and other family, Brenda Peterson, Mary Gaconi, Sandra Readeau, Frank and Alicia Fischer, Tom and Maribeth Morvant, and Wanda Bartholomew. Preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 28th from 10 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be celebrated at 12:00 P.M. at St. Roch # 1 Cemetery. All are welcome.
