Joseph Kilpatrick Larrimore

Joseph Kilpatrick Larrimore passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 3, 2018 at the age 87. Joe was native of Lucedale, Mississippi and a resident of Metairie, LA for 60 years. He was predeceased by his parents Margaret Alethia and David Larrimore as well as his brother Thomas Larrimore. He is survived by the love of his life, Yolande Howat and his brother William David Larrimore (Jeanette). Joseph graduated from Lucedale High School in 1949, served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955. He was stationed at Yokota Air Force base in Japan. He graduated from Mississippi Southern College in 1959. He owned and operated Professional Bowling Supplies on Metairie Road and belonged to Pete Fountain’s Half Fast Marching Club for 17 years. Joe is survived by his extended family, The Louis Howats and a host of nieces and nephews. The family would like to send a special thanks to Lakeside Hospice and Martha for her special care of Joe. Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until Mass time. Interment will follow in the Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA. Condolences may be expressed at www.schoenfh.com
