June Balencie Rohr went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 10, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born on June 25, 1925 and was a native and resident of New Orleans, Louisiana for her whole life. She was preceded in death by her parents Amelia Keitz Balencie and Sylvain Balencie and also her brother Roland S. Balencie. She is survived by Patricia R. Winter, Step-daughter and Wilbert L. Amerland, Jr., Godson. A special thanks go to her loving and caring sitters. Many thanks and God’s blessings to Sally, Betty and Valencia.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street, on Friday August 18, 2017. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in the St. Vincent DePaul Cemetery No. 3.
