Kelli Lynn DeSilva Rojas

Kelli Lynn DeSilva Rojas passed away Friday, June 11, 2021 at the age of 42. She was born in New Orleans on July 25, 1978 and was most recently a resident of Covington, LA. A graduate of Lake Castle Private School and Cabrini High School, she later attended Delgado Community College. She is survived by her three beautiful daughters; Brooklynn Marie Rojas, Baleigh Angele Rojas and Breanna Elizabeth Rojas; her parents Dana Sindik Favaza and Joseph Favaza, Sr, who she fondly referred to as “Dad”; siblings Kristin Favaza and Joseph Favaza, Jr.; grandmothers Shirley Sindik and Ruth Favaza. Kelli was the former wife of Luis Rojas and godmother to Christopher Ousley and Preston Cryns. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who she adored, her “ride or dies”. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Luis Vincente “Vinny” Rojas, Jr., her father Lloyd DeSilva, III, grandfathers Emmett Sindik and Raymond Favaza and grandmother Barbara Winkler Meshel. A Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM on Thursday, June 24, 2021 with a Memorial Service to follow at Jacob Schoen & Son, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA 70119. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in her name.
