Nancy Roberts FitzSimons

Nancy Roberts FitzSimons, age 66 years, died Thursday October 4, 2018. Ms. FitzSimons was a native of New Orleans and attended St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. She retired in 2014 after teaching in the St. Bernard Parish School District for 41 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Clifton Roberts and Eva Langkopp Roberts. She is survived by her daughter, Marcy FitzSimons McMenis (Jeff) of Metairie. She was the proud grandmother of Mason and Morgan McMenis. She is also survived by her sister, Lynn Seymour of Biloxi. She loved to be around her friends and family. She also enjoyed travelling since her retirement. The family will receive friends Wednesday October 10 from 10:15 A.M. until 12:15 P.M. at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:15 P.M. in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel with internment to follow in St. Roch #2 Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to MD Anderson Cancer Center in memory of Ms. FitzSimons.
