Pauline Wagner Felger

Pauline Wagner Felger passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the age at 92.

She was the beloved wife of the late Harold Charles Felger for 63 years. Loving mother of Glenn Felger (Patti), Michael Felger, and Brian Felger (Wanda). Daughter of the late Pauline Zimmer Wagner and Henry Adam Wagner, Sr. Sister of the late Henry Wagner Jr. and Edwin(EJ) Wagner. Sister-in-law of Amelia (Millie) Wagner and the late Adelene Wagner. Proud grandmother (MawMaw) of Danielle Felger LeBreton(David), Garrett Felger (Mariana), Brad Felger(Catherine), Margaret Felger, Mathew Felger (Julie), and Elizabeth Felger. Proud great grandmother (MawMaw) of Avery LeBreton, Mason LeBreton, Camille LeBreton, Zachary LeBreton, Millie Felger, and Lillian Felger.

Pauline attended St Cecilia Catholic School finishing top of her class and received a full scholarship to Academy of the Holy Angels in New Orleans. Pauline loved cooking for her family and having everyone together. She absolutely loved the holidays and would start planning all her dishes well in advance by looking through all of her hand written recipe books. She was a great cook following in the footsteps of her mother who cooked for over 25 family members every single Sunday. Pauline also loved attending all of her children's sporting events, cheering in the stands with family and her many friends in St. Bernard Parish. She also loved her card group friends who played poker together at each other’s houses for well over 50 years. Pauline was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who gave all to her family and will be forever missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Friday, May 26, 2023 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 3368 Esplanade Ave., New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. – 12 noon followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 12 noon. Interment will follow across the street at St. Louis #3 Cemetery.
