Peter Joseph Manale Jr., age 84, of the greater New Orleans area died Friday, August 4th, 2017 at his home surrounded by family.  Peter was born February 26, 1933 in New Orleans, Louisiana.  He was the son of the late Peter Joseph Manale Sr. and Lillian (Schaeffer) Manale. Peter was preceded in death by his loving wife Hilda (Mitten) Manale, brother Charles Manale, son Nicholas Manale, (widow Roxane) and grandson Zachary Manale. Peter is survived by son Peter Joseph Manale III and Evelyn, daughter Kelly Mullins and Eric, daughter Rosa Manale fiancee of Andrew Fortmayer, daughter Jewel Guzzardi and Gregory, daughter Jodie Manale, sister Rose Rita (Manale) McCann and eight grandchildren, Peter Joseph Manale IV, Carley, Matthew and Logan Mullins, Jennifer Dequeant, Gino Lubrano and Melanie, Seth LeBlanc, Blake Manale and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Peter was a generous person who never met a stranger.  He was called home after a long period of illness.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM.
