Pierre Edouard Thibodeaux passed away on May 12, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents Estelle Blanchard Maillet Thibodeaux and Benjamin Schuyler Thibodeaux and his brothers Schuyler Thibodeaux and Maurice S. Thibodeaux. Pierre is survived by his wife of 62 years, Myra Terrio Thibodeaux, six children; Pamela T. Everard (Robert), Lynne T. Morris (Michael), Paul Thibodeaux, Beth T. Lemonier (David), Mark Thibodeaux and Ann t. Ellis (Allen). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; Cyndee, Nicole and Lacey Everard, Matthew, Patrick and Daniel Morris, Colette Lemonier, Justin Thibodeaux, Natalie and James Ellis, Amber Thibodeaux, Courtney Lemonier and three great grandchildren; Skylar Pete, Wayne Fava and Jadyn Kahn. Pierre is survived by his brother John J. Thibodeaux. He graduated from St. Aloysius High School, worked for the Whitney Bank for 46 years and received an Honorable Discharge from the Louisiana National Guard. He belonged to the American Institute of Banking, a member of Dawnbusters Kiwanis Club, St. Benilde Men’s Club and St. Benilde Chere Amis. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 19, 2017 at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division Street, Metairie, LA 70001. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until Mass time. Masses preferred.
