Wilson Joseph Breaux, Jr.

Wilson J. Breaux, Jr. died Sunday, May 28, 2023. Wilson was a native of New Orleans.

He was raised in the French Quarter, attended St Aloysius High School and graduated from Loyola University where he was a member of the Blue Key National Honor Society. A parishioner of St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, he was a staunch promoter of the pro-life cause spending countless hours as a sidewalk counselor promoting the positive message of life to expectant mothers.  He lived the life of a true apostle of Christ.  Wilson always had a good word and prayerful message. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle soul and will be missed by all that knew him.

Wilson is preceded in death by his parents Wilson Joseph Breaux, Sr. and Anna Bode Breaux and his brother Camile J. Breaux.  He is survived by his sister-in-law Betty Breaux, his nieces Anna Azzopardi and Susan Breaux and his nephew Gregory Breaux.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 2:30 pm at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 4640 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70119 for a visitation with Eulogies to start at 3:15 P.M. A Latin Mass will be celebrated at 3:30 P.M. with interment to follow in Hope Mausoleum, 4841 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70119. Arrangements by Jacob Schoen & Son.
