Brian Stuart Alexander

Brian Stewart Alexander, born on February 2, 1969 in New Iberia, Louisiana, to Gloria Alexander Crawford and the late Oliver "Kenneth" Alexander Sr, passed away at age 49 on September 6, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana. His sweet soul went to heaven whilst his daughter Jenna held his hand, playing Fleetwood Mac's "Dreams". Brian's only marriage was to Jamie Morel. Their relationship ended after 12 years however they remained like family. Brian later reunited with his childhood sweetheart Tammy Bonin whom he loved until his last breath. Brian was preceded in death by his sister, Kimberly Alexander. Brian is survived by his former brother in law Keith Morel. His sons, Hayden Alexander, and Jacob Alexander,and twin son's Matthew Florez and Christopher Florez; daughters, Jenna Terrebonne and Erika Alexander; brothers, Kenneth Alexander Jr and Kurt Alexander; and sister, Jennifer Alexander Chaloux (Todd Chaloux). Brian was a kind, loving man who suffered greatly with diabetes I, mental illness and addiction issues in his lifetime. However, Brian's faith in Christ was unwavering. He could often be heard singing Christian Music at the top of his lungs. He could fix anything and duct tape was more often his tool of choice. Brian wore many hats in his lifetime but was best known as stay at home dad to his youngest son's, Hayden and Jacob. Brian was loved greatly and will be missed by many. The family would like to thank public defender Anna Friedberg and Chaplain Kathy Radke for their friendship to Brian in his last days. Services will be private.
