Mary Hanes Malbrough

Mary H. Malbrough of Metairie, Louisiana passed to eternal life on Friday, June 15, 2018. With relentless dignity, Mary fought for seven years until passing peacefully in her sleep. Born in New Orleans Decemeber 26, 1939, Mary resided in Metairie, Louisiana for the past fifty-seven years. She was the daughter of Maude H. Gasper, and Mc Clausland Olinde of New Roads, Louisiana. She is survived by her daughter Jodie Bua and two sons, Duiet Malbrough, III and Darren Malbrough. She was further blessed to have ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. As a retired Executive Assistant for HJM Machine shop, Mary enjoyed dancing, working in her garden, and loved her cats deeply: Indy, Smokey, and Sox. “Maw Maw Pep” will forever be remembered by all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 1:30 pm in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA. Visitation will be from 11:30 am until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
